Not bad, not bad at all !
Slightly more expensive than my train ticket, which was only 10 Euro

A little pricey but it included the bus ride back to Milan. Overall nice day!

If you like steamtrains you should take a trip to Wernigerode and take a trip with the [^] to the top of Brocken. It's running on a schedule several times a day.
25 steam engines, 140 km tracks and more than a million passenger per year.
Brocken is the highest mountain of north Germany and is often covered in fog, so choose your day properly.
Wernigerode is worth a few hours on it's own, so don't despair if you fail on the weather.

Thanks I'll keep that in mind, but this years vacation is pointing to Jutland in Denmark, so the only trains I will see will be some Lego trains I'm afraid

In that case i should mention Skagen, Råbjerg Mile and Legoland.

The ZLSM has those "days" also, for years now. It looks more like a hobby of the crew than a tourist attraction

We visited Simpelveld, but we were too early in the season apparently and the station was deserted sadly

That's relatively close to the Brands' beer brewery. Give a yell in advance next time, I'll give you a tour of the simple fields

The contract manager I work for has been trying to fill an empty contractor seat for six months. One of the requirements is a CSSLP cert (as well as a Secret clearance and Security+ cert).
He searched Linked-In for "CSSLP", and of the 10's of thousands of IT people in Linked in, only 48 had the CSSLP cert, and NONE of them are developers. The reason I have to get the cert is because my job title is "senior developer". They're going to try to ammend the contract so that my position is titled "developer", but requiring the same skill set.
All of this means taht I won't have to get a CSSLP cert (if they can ammend the contract).

Hmmm. In my experience, "Developer" gets paid well below "Senior Developer" ...

There wioll be no pay cut for me.
With the skill set they require for the position, the title doesn't really mean squat. I gave the contract manager a list of required skills, and he asked me to rate them on a scale of 1 to 10.
I said, "10."
He asked, "Which one?"
I responded, "All of them".
He followed that up with, "Can you give these skills to me in order of importance?"
I said, "Put them in alphabetical order, backawards, or in numeric order regarding how many smaller words you can get out of them."

The process is moving amazingly fast. The need to fill the seat is apparently overriding the sluggish pace of government contract changes.

I love it when reality buts heads with bureaucracy, reality almost always wins. I used to have to do the anti money laundering tests every year until I resigned rather than waste my time on them, that was 5 years before I quit.
