I haven;t seen it, but ... IMBD[^] has it at 9.0 / 10.0, from 245,318 voters. Which is a huge score - normally a 6 is "bloody good" when the people who hate it have finished voting (which they do, they do ...)
When it's a small number of votes, a very high or very low vote is generally rigged on IMDb, but that's a lot of votes right there.

This is the problem with IMDB's rating. The "fanboy" movies are generally over-rated. Lots of people come out of Batman, Avengers etc and give "10" because they enjoyed watching the action. If you read the user reviews for Endgame, even the ones that gave it "10" discuss the movie's flaws in their reviews....so if it is flawed why is it a 10?
I believe IMDB skew their scores to give more importance to recent ratings and less importance to older ratings so that over time the initial fanboy flood of "10"s is evened out by the more realistic reviews that only tend to come much later, but it still doesn't stop movies like The Dark Knight, Star Wars etc riding high in the listings. Maybe IMDB should split the charts into "fanboy movies" and "normal movies".

It's "ok", depends how much you like these movies. If you're a huge fan of Marvel movies you'll like this one, if you think they're just ok then you'll think this is just ok. It's no better or worse than any other Marvel movie. It's quite slow in places, especially the start, and it has some rather annoying plot elements, but it picks up toward the end.
Probably the best thing about it is that it is ripe for allowing you to emulate Homer Simpson coming out of Star Wars, loudly discussing spoilers while passing the queue of people waiting for the next show

I saw it at the weekend and I thought, of all the Avengers films, it was the worst one I had seen
I won't explain why as it would involve spoilers.
Oh okay then I will give a clue - a character with a name that sounds like "Catpain Gargle" could quite simply have saved me around 2.5 hours of watching what turned out to be a boring film.

Since my disappointment with the original Superman film (DC comics, true), I haven't bothered to watch any of the so-called "super-hero" films. The comics, IMO, were much better!

I so much want DC to step up the game. They have a much better storyline IMO.

Well, okay, a few of them have been more than a bit ropey but they've had this absolutely cracking idea for the next one, it's truly original!
SPOILER ALERT - YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST
Okay, if you really want to know ...
The Empire (that's the bad guys) have got this really cool weapon that can wipe out an entire planet in one go. It's a massive big round thing that looks like some kind of metallic planet. It's so big and deadly that they call it a Death Star.
Fortunately for the goodies, much as the thing is almost perfect, it does have one little flaw. A really switched on Jedi pilot could just, possibly squeeze an X-Fighter through one of the maintenance ducts, loose a shot or two at a couple of core components and KABLAMMO!
Now, you may be thinking that that's exactly the same story as several others in the weary old franchise - and to a fair extent you'd be right - but this one has MORE disassociated green-screen acting than the rest put together and BETTER CGI and stuff that was mildly exciting twenty-years ago. It will be awesome, I just know it!

Hokey weirdos die or may be not. That is the plot summary. Now you decide if you want to see it or not. It also includes either a shaky cam or a super close up of action scenes so you don't really get to see those but just imagine what may have happened.
