Dosbox works on Linux. Quake 1 was dos, not sure about the other two.

You can actually run quake native on Linux.

This is why I never do this...
This is a - verbatim - extract from a hardware equipment manual, and I'm pretty sure I need to do something about it.
Quote: Six. the regular machine adjust.
1, route of travel switch: There is one route of travel switch in the central part after organic plank, if the machine fuse is intact. The button presses organic front-panel not to work in the power position, can by hand press a route of travel switch. If the machine contains work, then can take down backboard and adjusts the route of travel switch upward. Make the organic plank able to press a route of travel switch.
But quite what, I don't know ... I think it means "press the power button" and that I'm the "organic plank" but I'm not sure.
Anyone care to even guess what the machine does?

It's a "Bullshit" button. It says "bullshit four different ways.

As your switch travels around on an organic plank, I would say it is a '110V 120W DIGITAL VACUUM PACKING SEALING MACHINE SEALER KITCHEN STORAGE PACKING DZ-260C'...

Absolutely correct!
Now, if you'd just care to translate it into English, I'd be obliged.

Not sure China has access to Google Translate - Great Firewall of China and all that.
I did though:
Quote:
Then (for a laugh) I translated that back to English:
Quote: six. Regular machine adjustments.
1, the limit switch: the center plate has a travel switch in the center part, if the machine fuse is intact. The button presses the organic front panel and does not work in the power position, you can press the travel switch by hand. If the machine contains work, you can remove the backplane and adjust the path of the travel switch up. Enables the organic board to press the travel switch. And that ... almost makes sense ... unless you open it up and have a look for an internal switch.
Oh well, it works fine, so I'll ignore the manual as usual!

They say: if the machine is otherwise OK (including the fuse) some crap may get into the slide switch to stop it sliding to / staying in the on position, in which case clean it out.
(Singapore is not quite that bad, but being here I've become more adept interpreting Chinglish.)

Ah! So if the vacuum release fails, there is a slide switch inside which lets you open the top. Makes sense now.
Thanks!

Reminds me of the lamp I had in college. The manual had a warning which read Quote: Do not be alarm if smoke come from you lamp! Now it might just be me but when my appliances start smoking, I tend to shut them off and replace them... unless of course the appliance in question is a smoker, in which case only 12 more hours til brisket!

Yes, we lease it back from the company we sold it to, and that way it comes under the monthly current budget and not the capital account.

The machine tests your document control system, to ensure the systems are in place to handle documentation from foreigners with no English language skills. You need to replace the fuse.
