If the Klingons get sleepy, should you fire a futon torpedo?

How about a self inflating pontoon torpedo when they are drowning?

related OT - speaking of tired tactics the latest Star Trek Discovery series they've played the Spock card, even latest ep. throwing in a bit of the original series Nimoy footage. (Were Disco ratings already falling that much?)
Guessing they went for old footage coz Leonard didn't reply to their messages asking him to make an in person cameo... I'm sure bit of a make up, some special fx and a couple of tankers of formaldehyde they could have made him look young [and quietly thoughtful] again.

This whole "being dead" business kinda gets in the way.
Personally I was hoping they'd go Gollum on him. The technology certainly exists now; now sure they could do it on the cheap however. Zachary Quinto is about the only thing I liked about the rebooted movies. This guy doesn't sell it.

Our Sure-sync license was allowed to expire, and that adversely affected our last software deployment. There is STILL some question about whether or not it's been renewed.
I mentioned my Synchronicity app, as well as the facts that there is no cost involved, and that we would have the source code to "make it our own", and they shot that idea down because it's not a commercial product, and it's not on the "approved software list".
It's sad how the government insists on spending too much money for stupid reasons.

I just had the laugh about it when MS announced that Edge will move to Chrome's engine...
When MS switched to Edge it automatically got into the list beside IE (which got in there in the IE5 area, and hasn't been actually checked since), because it is from the same company with known quality and bla-bla-bla-bla... Now Edge is in, it is either will have a new engine (which is open source) or will be re-branded to an other E product, that will go into the list automatically for the very same (and very wrong) reasons Edge (and IE) got in...

I worked for a company that paid an annual $60,000 licence fee for a conference call system that hardly ever got used - we used WebEx, and other cheaper solutions but the option was still there to use this old system and this was what our company policy actually recommended. It was paid for automatically every year. The person who set it up a decade earlier had left and no-one really knew about it.
When I came in as a Director of Software Development, I noticed it and questioned it ...and then cancelled it. We had been paying for it for over fifteen years without hardly using it at all for over eight years (as long as several people remembered). People thought it was free since everyone could just use it when they wanted - but no-one used it because it was old and clunky!
At the same time, I had to argue long and hard to spent a tiny fraction of that money on development tools such as ReSharper, etc.

If they use your a they save money - and if it breaks are beaten severely for not using approved software.
If they don't us yours, they can be seen as wasting money, but if it doesn't work, whoever put it on the approved software list has their neck on the block.

Solution: Turn it a commercial product and make them the exclusive customer, for a few million dollars. I have no doubt that in some government departments, they'd have an easier time making that fly.
