Not sure if this has been posted here before.
I was unable to watch it at work because tears were streaming down my face as I was laughing at this: Let's deploy to production - YouTube[^]

By now this video (with different subtitles) has turned into such an old meme it shouldn't be this funny.
Shouldn't.

A colleague of mine used to work for a well know software games company.
He has vowed never again to work in the software gaming industry after his experience - I heard bits of what it was like and for an industry that provides "entertainment" to other people, the amount of suffering it creates in its employees is just one huge brain***k of cognitive dissonance given the goal is to create happiness for its customers.

That's funny stuff right there.
Is that a real translation of what he said or fictional?

Fully fictional

Spanish risa -> English laugh
risitas -> small laughs -> English "chuckles"?

He's been everywhere.
I'm surprised he's not part of the Der Untergang cast by now (which is also one of those videos that has been re-subtitled many, many times)

The first link - 403 error.

A job site I'm subscribed to (too lazy to unreg, just set email client to junk it)
- suggested job: AS/400 System Engineer - I've never set those options (AS/400 nor SysEngin) as prefs in any job site ever (hell never touched anything AS/400)
- suggested a Diploma course: Professional Diploma in Counter Terrorism
What!!?? It's an IT Jobs only site! where did that course come from?
(or is terrorism also related to AS/400?)
Either way to old to give a sh*t, too old to go to school (well just don't want to), way too old to pick a fight!
Counter terrorism???
You there!!! stand still while I fetch my stick!!! (Firearms and even weaponised knives are illegal here.)
...gotta stop looking in my Junk mail folder (even when really really bored), also absolutely don't need Louie Vution bags nor Spanish real estate anyway.

A number of years ago, a company announced a position for a person familiar with COBOLT.
I have also seen companies in search of people with proficiency in system stimulation.
Both examples predate automatic spelling correction. Today we can't rule out the possibility that they meant to write something quite different, but someone cast a spell on them.
(One Norwegian computer vendor, Norsk Data, actually marketed such a product as "The ND Spell" )

The saddest part is that this could be a "personal" email from someone who "read" your LinkedIn profile...

Maybe the government is under the assumption that if they use archaic tech other countries can break in but won't know how to use it.
