Yes, at first sight it seems mad to have a Braille message on a purely visual amusement. However, ask yourself how, without it, a blind kid would know that this item is purely visual?!

How do blind people even find the braille messages?

Well, when they fall over the object they will want to feel it to figure out what it was [that they fell over]...

For the curious ones: The braille text says (surprise, surprise!) "Fun reflections".

I checked that myself with an online reader ... It's harder to read than I expected, easy to make mistakes.

I knew a guy back in college who was blind, and could read IBM punch cards using his fingers. He said they were a PITA compared to Braille, because the holes were spread so far apart.

Watch blind people using an electronic braille line - you'll be impressed! They use both hands, reading the first half with the left hand, then the right hand takes ove reading the second half while the left hand moves back to the beginning, ready for the next line. Some of them read braille faster than I read printed text! Their hands move so fast that you'd think they are trying to brush away the flies...
Another point that impresses me: I look at the Braille tables and do not recognize some codes that they read, but they tell: Oh, that's just because they use the OP table for representing the special Norwegian alphabetics! Or they use this table, or that table, or maybe UTF8 coding or ... There was at least three different ecodings in use for non-AZ-characters before UTF8, but they never thought of it: A single occurence of a "strange" braille code revealed "This text uses encoding so-and-so". Problem solved, nothing to worry about

Scotland and Wales are part of the UK, so that puts the UK comfortably ahead of India in second place.

They aren't part of the UK as far as the media or government are concerned unless they win a major sportsball event ...

Speaking as a member of the Mercian Independence and Liberation Front (MILF), I'm inclined to agree that the English provinces have put the future of the UK in grave jeopardy but for the time being we will happily regard yourself and Andy Murray as being British.

Just out of interest... why is it that UK, England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland are all separate options?
Not that I expect you to know the answer, but you raised the point so you win the question

The distribution would probably be different if it was "points per country" rather than "members per country".
And the US input may be skewed somewhat: it was (and probably still is) the default location if the member doesn't change it on sign up. Quite a few members who I know are India based have US as the location for example. Don't know if that applies to anyone in the top 200 though (and I'm far, far too lazy to check).
