Make your life better: listen now! Can't believe that version hasn't turned up in recommendations earlier. Thank you, Mitski!

The album Reload[^], on which this featured, came out in 1999 and is made up or collaborations and reworkings of lots of songs, and is well worth listening to in its entirety.

So did the twat bumroot the song like all todays talentless hacks do with the great songs of the 70's and 80's?

Love that song!
I remember seeing this on MTV or TMF before going to school.
I was still in primary school.
MTV (Music Television) was still airing music video's.
TMF (The Music Factory, a Dutch music TV channel) still existed.
My computer had the ultra fast Pentium II.
Life was a lot simpler (except for that Pentium II, which was state of the art complexity).
Man, this is old

The Talking Heads version is, bet this version is current and shite. Can't listen to it, keep hearing great riffs everywhere, tune in and find they are reworks of great songs where they are being treated like alter boys and the singer sees themselves as a catholic priest.

I actually like this version better, but maybe that's because it's the version I know best.

It looks pretty damned impressive, but I Really can't afford to start another game, right now. DQ XI cost me so many hours that I'm rationed to 20 minutes of DooM per week (Lord help me if it had been as good as DQ VIII!)
What bluddy idjit invented computer gaming, anyway? Did he think we're made of time?

20 minutes of Doom per week only? wow.... You can't even afford to look at AC: O, you'll be doomed!

Yeah, that one's addictive. How far have you got? I'm working my way through the first Hell level, and just got the chain gun.
I like the "Classic Levels" idea - that was a good touch!

I'm not happy with the "push forward" thing; it's not how I like to play.
For me, the real skill in DooM is to get the baddies to kill each other, not to charge around like a nutter, shooting every which way like a maniac.

I know what you mean - I prefer a more "thoughtful" approach to mass murder.
But ... I find that a "cautious approach" works in many of the fights. Take out the small fry with the pistol from a long way away, and then lure out the big boys in as small a group as you can while running away retreating to a prepared kill zone.
The plasma rifle Stun Bomb on "full welly" combined with the "Dazed and Confused" rune and a zoomed HAR firing Devastator rounds works well for me so far.

Nah, too busy trying to find games that work on our new Chromebook (without touchscreen), it is correct that you can run most Android games on it, you just can't control them
