Then where exactly do you expect me to find my hooch? Can you get it elsewhere in W.A.?

I did it, I started my own guitar shop. (VMA Guitars[^])
(Harder than I thought)
It's very, very small and I'll start out with just a few guitars (and outside my usual job). I'm about to place my first order with Danelectro guitars and I was thinking about the 84 and the 59M (NOS). For the 59M (NOS) I'm still in doubt what color to take.
So what's your favorite and what would be "easiest" to sell? (Colors[^])

Good luck ...

Congratulations on setting up the shop successfully.

Great stuff Vincent. Not to be a dick, but you have a spelling mistake on your About page. enthusiast and not enthousiast.

I reckon your eyes are younger and better than mine. It's just that you wrote it and it's harder to see your own mistakes and I pick spelling mistakes out of other people's stuff like a savant. Can't see my errors for love or money.

There are only two things in this world I cannot stand. People who are intolerant of other peoples cultures and The Dutch.

Yeah but I don't have a Belgian quote, I stole the one I used off Nigel Powers.

I always think Dano's only look right in White, Black (if your on a Jimmy Page kick) is acceptable. The thing that always bothered me about them was they were made of kind of cardboard I forget the name weren't they?

That said, and since I am the fun guy at parties, this : I find the website design a bit too ... 20th century ( which means a bit old now but not THAT old neither). I think one part of your target audience (youngsters with no big money but want lessons) will be people looking it up with smartphones and tablets, so the menu tabs are not so cool - that said, I only checked the PC version.
For the other part of your audience (big money and more mileage), the design is plain good, but sometimes too small (font size or images).

I got that remark before. I'll have to think about that for a while.
The truth is that I don't like websites of today either: too much of nothingness for the most parts, but of course the website is not for me...
I coded this by hand, so if you have recommendations for (simple) tools that can make that flashier in a snap, let me know. (I heard that Wordpress is a mess, I see a lot of commercials for wix, ...)

Good luck from another 'enthusiast'! As others have mentioned, the white is probably the safest bet.

For the beginner models they use BASIC strings.

I'm talking about my big presentation of course
About 40 people showed up for the food and drinks and found themselves trapped when my presentation started
I talked for about 2 x 45 minutes (more or less perfectly timed) about Azure, DevOps, containers, Functions, and Cosmos DB.
The demos went well, save for a few longer-than-usual loading times in Azure.
People asked questions and I was able to answer them.
And thanks to modern medicine I had no nerves whatsoever (people were even amazed I looked to relaxed ).
People told me they liked it and they learned from it.
So I'm definitely doing this again

On the rest... Congratulations. Glad it all went fine.
