Sorry to hear of your troubles.
As soon as I read "GoDaddy..." in your post I knew that was the root issue.
I had suffered much from GoDaddy two different times and they were absolutely clueless or purposefully unhelpful each time.
So I made the switch to SmarterASP.net - Unlimited ASP.NET Web Hosting[^]
It was a little painful to convert all 5 of my sites over there (with some backing DBs) but it was well worth it.
I have found SmarterASP to be helpful. You get the feeling that the people running the smarterasp have a stake in keeping it running.
You can use my referral id if you like : SmarterASP.net - Unlimited ASP.NET Web Hosting[^]
You can even try it for 60 days with no credit card to insure it supports your sites.
Anything I can do to get people way from GoDaddy. Good luck.

Thanks for sympathy. Mainly, it get me riled and energized.
Fortunately (although it's why the problem suddenly exist) I use domain forwarding to an independent host site. All I need to do to move the site is transfer the domain and set up domain forwarding.
Copying over email forwards will be a hassle - but I can get a dump of them to a flat file and it at least, via the blessings of cut-and-paste, be rather easy.
And transparent to the users.
I followed your link and needed to send then an inquiry based upon what I need. Funny how finding so much of the pricing, such as Domain renewal pricing, is not straight forward on any of these sites.

I, in fact, did.
Told them they're no different than the callers from Microsloth that need to remove a virus from my computer. They keep playing "I didn't know" - so, a screen shot, then a link - and of course I don't expect any results.
Along the way, after she read the items, I noted that really nothing I hear from GoDaddy cannot be taken as a lie. Oddly enough, I believe I got the tech on my side. If she was telling the truth, the assholes not only blindside customers but blindside their own tech support. Or just another liar.
As a number of other domain start to expire they will all be moving. Even if it cost a bit more for the same services I used to have (although apparently it's less). Voting with my feet (or in this case, wallet).

... I've just bought a colour laser.
Every time I try to use it, the heads are dry - I must have poured more ink through it cleaning the heads and trying to get all jest working than actually went on paper where I wanted.
And now to cap it all, it's randomly spraying cyan on every print (even monochrome) and not printing it on the damn page where I want it.
Probably my own fault - I don't print often enough - but sod it, lasers don't have that problem (and the "starter toner" pack should last me a few years at the rate I print anyway 700 pages K and 500 CYM). I haven't bought a new ream of paper in three years and there is a good half of it left!
Anyone here found inkjets as much of a hassle as I have?

You should be able to remove the heads and soak them in some cleaning stuff (lots of google hits on what to do and how to do it). I also wrote this article:

Hardware problem I think - even if you are printing white space it's spraying a fine cyan background splatter. At a guess the cyan channel is getting a low induced or leaked voltage from the others and it's enough to cause nano-droplet ejection.
It's an Epson, so it's a shared wall piezo channel for each head and droplet, and they can get weird when they start to fail - I used to design industrial inkjet printers using SW PZT and they are funny little buggers.

I used to be annoyed at HP for having the heads built into the cartridge. I refill* them and they last a good long time, but none the less, it's a lot of money for two-fingers of ink.
So I hand one with cheap cartridges (Brother) and a built-in head. Great - until the head died. Then I discovered how much it cost to replace . . . HP isn't so bad, after all.
I do the 90% isopropyl alcohol to clean them if they get a bit lame from lack-of-use, but buy and large, it works out even, either way (and probably designed to, maybe include laserjets in that equation, as well).
Almost all my personal printing is done to a .pdf file - harder to lose/spill coffee on. Never out of ink.
* Mrs. Wife thought it would make a good xerox machine. Filling black, myself, cost about $US 1.50 and that made it pretty thrifty - although those days have thankfully passed.
