Looks beautiful! Welcome back! And here's another source for music for your Sound of the Week, in case you haven't came across it before: Uploads from KEXP. It brought this[^] to my attention, which I am particularly fond of at the moment! (And some more which I won't link.)

Some years ago I wrote a Winforms app with an icon which is black-on-transparent. I can't see the icon on my Win 10 Taskbar.

Check mt.exe, use it and control your legacy app
It does not solve my Problem, but it answers my question

Now that's funny! I'm sure it looked awesome against a dark blue background!
At least you still have the source code right?
Speaking of old code...I spent a good part of this afternoon translating classic asp to php.
Ah well, it's all done now!

I have the code, but I haven't decided which version of VS to install on this new system. Used to using 2010, but might go newer.

I've got both VS 2010 and 2017 installed, but prefer 2010 for the speed. I'm mostly targeting 4.0 anyway.

Yeah I have one of those as well ... but I put such effort into making it look good I haven't had the heart to change it, I just look for the icon that isn't there.

Another option: if it's a C# application I can give you some icon routines that can change the icon RGB values and transparency, just let me know if you want it

Sounds like a bit of a Disaster Area.
Every time you try and operate these weird black controls that are labeled in black on a black background, a little black light lights up in black to let you know you’ve done it.

Got the 32gb USB3 thumb drives today, and transferred the installed raspian instances to them. Booting takes about 3 seconds. The secret to faster boot ups is to put an empty SD card in the SD card slot. The OS tries to boot from it and can't, so it immediately starts booting from the thumb drive.
While I was hardware-ing, I upgraded an old dual-core AM2 Athlon CPU to a quad-core AM3 CPU, and doubled the RAM form 2GB to 4GB. Kubuntu is quite snappy now.

So every Friday, one of the team is tasked with providing breakfast for everyone else. This morning's brekky was the best ever only now I am bloated, lethargic and unable to work or think (normal).
We had a waffles form waffle house and chicken from chick-fil-a with all the trimmings; fruit, syrup, sriracha sauce, etc, etc.
I'm now realizing that maple syrup and sriracha sauce on chicken and waffles with whipped cream doesn't really mix!
