Hi all,
Days ago I asked for advice here about choosing the best sit stand table.
I got plenty of answers, first of all thank you all for it.
I've contacted by e-mail:
- Autonomous. *
- Fully. **
- XDesk.
- Uplift.
- NewHeights.
- Vertdesk.
- ModDesk.
* They can send only the legs and structure, but not the desk top overseas.
** they can send everything, but it is impossible to test it before buying. They offer a return option, but it is a little bit hassle.
All the others simply doesn't send their products overseas (unless you buy a lot of them) always without having seen them before.
I've been able to see:
- Ikea.
- Actiu.
- Steelcase.
The Ikea one was disconnected at the shop and they had it badly bolted so the impression was not good at all.
The Actiu one costs 60€ less than the Steelcase, they have a nice product, but given the small price difference Steelcase is the winner for it's name and the 8 years of warranty.
I've been able to see the specific table I'll get at Steelcase and it is a serious thing, with all the bells and whistles one can need: a big cable tray as wide as the table itself, a small lid in the back/middle of the table that gives access to all the cables, plugs... some anti-bacterial coating (probably it will kill me)...
I've opted out for the cabling guide and for the extra holes to pass cables, as well as the already mounted plugs as they installation did not offered electrically protected plugs.
All in all a good buy, let's see if I'll say the same in 6 weeks when it will arrive at the office.
Again, thank you all for your comments and help.

May I wish you the best of luck with your new desk!*
* And I think I can say that in the full and certain knowledge that I've never said anything like that before, and am not likely to in the future!

Or even better yet, 6 weeks after you begin using it.
I will be very interested in what your experience is with it after 2 months of using.
As I said, the two people here who have them stopped raising them about 5 or 6 weeks after receiving them. The one person does raise hers maybe once a week.
I believe it may be a failure of ergonomics when the desk is raised : ala no support for arms when standing and typing /mousing. Hopefully you will experience a better result.
Good luck..

This will sound definitely stupid I know, but in my case tables feel too high, and I wanted something lower, but I did not know how much lower... then, before getting a fixed size table that had to be specifically made for me, I thought on getting one that can be regulated, therefore I'll be able to put it at the size I want.
So, mostly I'll sit while working, and if some day I stand perfect and nice, but this is not my main goal.
But I promise I'll explain my experience with it.
