Hopefully, otherwise they get sad and commit insecticide?

It would appear that this council is run by sadists, and exclusively for masochists. Anyone else living there just end up absorbing the collateral damage, alright? Think about this for a minute: It's called the "Killjoy Council", and that should ring a few bells.
In case it doesn't, I was able to quickly look up a couple of other inane things this council has done:
Killjoy council orders family to tear down 12ft treehouse in back garden because it doesn't have planning permission | Daily Mail Online[^]
Girl, 9, writes scathing letter to killjoy housing chiefs | Daily Mail Online[^]
One solution would be to wrap a blanket around the head of council officials (one at a time) as they're walking on an empty stretch of road and give them a rain of blows from various directions, asking shouting things like "If you look at Susie again, I'll kill you", or "You monster, why did you do that to Danny?!", or "Stop selling drugs to schoolkids or we will break your legs", etc. That will leave them confused enough not to mess with the normal lives of other people.

I see the tickets are not yet booked.

It was a housing association rather than the council that came up with this.

OK, then the housing association it is. Although the first dailymail article link calls it the killjoy council.

The Mail is somewhat less factual than the National Enquirer and generally quite proud of it.

Truer words have never been spoken. I suppose there's an equivalent "news" company in all countries. It's like the retarded cousin who not only knows of his mental retardation, but is strangely proud of it.

If you do not have AdBlock, the page is full of NSFW ads.

I don't see any NSFW ads (on two different computers). Targeted advertisement could usually be indicative of your (unprotected) internet habits, or worse yet, an infected computer.
Or it could be because my computers are going to block pretty much every ad that's out there on most websites (uBlock Origin, a custom hosts file, and a hard filter on the router which gets updated weekly). Websites like CodeProject are excluded though.

I am using my office computer so no browsing nasties. I did not even look at the actual ad. Just saw some scantily clad ladies and closed the screen. Might have been something innocent too.

If it's a work computer, then advertisements could be based on collective browsing habits (assuming you're all on the same IP for the world outside). One possibility is that some of your colleagues have been a bit too naughty.

They were links to some fashion news...duct tape is the new rage I guess!

I believe the adds are individually selected. I see adds for a Swedish chain of Beds and linen suppliers.

You don't tell me what to do, OK. I am an adult. My wife tells me what to do and our son takes care of my sleep schedule.

It's worse than that. Even if you do have an ad-blocker enabled, you'll still see content from "The Sun" - a rancid little tabloid that isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

The punchline says it all:
Quote: The housing association landlord has since said management will consider allowing the residents to keep the pool if it is enclosed by a locked fence.
You couldn't make it up (and less you're the bloke who came out with it, of course).
Personally, I feel, that however little water we have left, burglars should be actively encouraged to drown in it.
