Well - at least from my perspective - as part of humanities "Next Evolutionary Step", I hardly even consider myself the same species as "them".

His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.

By golly, Jim, I'm beginning to think I can cure a rainy day.
It helps that I have a tin box with the Enterprise on one side and the scene with the quote "it is life, but not as we know it" quote in my living room. Luckily my wife is nerdier than me.

Send her right over. I have nerdy work to do. On my desk at home I finally have the parts for a Space 1999 Eagle[^], freshly printed on my 3D printer.
Should I ever buy the bigger version of my printer, I could scale it up to 40 inches / 1m and print it again.

Somewhere amongst my boxes of stuff stored in my attic is a late 70's vintage model of an Eagle that I assembled.

Water? On plants? Are you mad?
You need to use Brawndo: The Thirst Mutilator[^]. It's got what plants crave. It's got electrolytes.

I think we are made to be stupid, a good example from our former parent company.
We had signs to put above hot taps in the kitchens and bathrooms to make users aware that there is hot water in the hot tap.
Every day, thousands of innocent plants are killed by vegetarians.

The second warning in the instructions for the iron we bought over the weekend, something like:
"Do not iron clothes while wearing them, as severe burns may result."

Or the warning on my Wagner PowerStripper - do not use to dry hair.
This on a device made to heat paint to the point that it bubbles off the surface it was covering.

Unfortunately going backward implies that, somewhere in the past, folks were smart enough to plan for this[^] as the future. Either that, or they thought it would be massively humorous to with us.

As far as I'm concerned, if you purchase water in a bottle, then yeah, you're probably the type who needs all sorts of warnings and guidance.
Bonus points if you're also the type who, at the same time, worries about the environment, yet continue to make said purchases.
