It's going to be a tough one, there is no obvious winner.
But your guys are playing like a team for the first time since very long.
So now is the time to go far I suppose.

I just hope that they don't start with Sterling or Vardy. Subs fine but not the starting line-up.

Sorry,
Not exactly accurate, we went down twice but not without a fight first.
The jerries were far too strong though so down we went.
Mind you: we are doing better than them this time.

He's always been slightly over-rated in my book, certainly never quite in the same inter-galactic-hyper-league as Messi or Ronaldo.
I think this World Cup will be remembered as the one where we first saw Kylian Mbappe - that boy is something truly special.

BTW so, in your opinion, France will outclass Uruguay, won't it?

Fair point, though I'm not sure that Mbappe will be treated as a surprise for any longer - they'll all be trying to kick lumps out of him from now on (especially Uruguay). Not sure how many will be fast enough or good enough to get that close to him, though!
It's a real pain that the France v Uruguay has to be on during work hours (especially as I originally had the day booked of as holiday)

No no no … the only possible outcomes for Brazil-Belgium are
1:2 or 2:4
This complements nicely the guess by V. …

(in soccer terms of course), Brazil Belgium 2:4 is my guess … BR,

Ok, Belgium is for real. Brazil just just 17 on target attempts and came away with only 1 point! That was amazing defense.

I hope not to get on your nerves, but look who made it into the hall of fame yesterday[^]!
I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats.
His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.
