You got me!
For your punishment you will be tied to a chair for 4 days and forced to listen to Vogon poetry recital:
Vogon's best poet: "Oh freddled gruntbuggly,
Thy micturations are to me
As plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee.
Groop, I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes,
And hooptiously drangle me with crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts
With my blurglecruncheon, see if I don't!"
No worries. You will be entirely insane after the first 3 hours.

I heard the first ever broadcast (I was at Uni) and they changed it for all the subsequent ones, probably so the BBC didn't get sued.

Considering the speed with which you post replies to Griff's puns, I have always dismissed you as a bot.

... that copying cells in Excel and pasting them as an "Enhanced metafile" in powerpoint or word results in a cropped image being pasted. Internet forums are full of requests for this being fixed and of workarounds with every combination of Word and Excel versions.
I wonder what my boss would say if I had not fixed a bug after 18 years.

Have you seen Microsoft's bug list? It's enormous - beyond imagination (all products/divisions included), so I have been told.
I assure you that this bug will NEVER get fixed. It would cost more money to fix the bug then not.
|
|
|
|
|
And have you saw that part of the list that full of real bugs but closed nevertheless?

Microsoft will never fix any bug that will cost them more money to fix it, then if they didn't. As long as it does not impact overall product satisfaction and use.
....um, so they close them, or leave them open, doesn't matter - never gonna get done.
