Well, it works with your example: you wanna fatten them up to slow them down, to give the other kids a better chance...

Along the lines of POH's thread on debugging, we could start a "Did you know" section where you can enter small descriptions and or samples of interesting and use full information. This is what I thought Tips and Tricks originally was but that turned into a mini (and not so mini) article area. With the judicious use of keywords it may be a useful tool.
Example
Did you know that if you right click on the debug point you can add filters and conditions.
Keyword - debug

I disagree. By posting it here, it will be seen by a lot of regular active members, and hopefully provoke the kind of lively discussion that will refine the idea before it's taken over by the hamsters.

So if any specific forum is not visited by many, it is acceptable to post here?

Possibly but I was trying to raise a discussion as I'm not sure the idea is viable.
My first and only posts to the T&T forum were along these lines, I'd be embarrassed to post there now. To keep it from growing into another article venue the entries could be limited to #n lines.
Keep it to a repository of ideas and pointers to interesting things about IDE's and languages.

After a couple of years away from programming, I am getting back into it. Still looking for some projects from here (notably one that is a Visual Studio style options panel for WinForms), but have most of what I need.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

Interesting. I don't think I could ever stop programming.
How long were you programming before you quit?
Did you become bored with it? Or were you forced towards other ventures?
Just curious, and welcome back.

Success!
This is why we document.
Also, this is why we document clearly (we hope).
Because we may (and often are) the end-user or our own documentation.
Way to go.
I writes things down so I don't have to remember thems.
I writes thems down clearly so I don't has to understands them later.
EDIT
I finally guessed how to add that dancing gif. This is the best thing I've done all week (maybe year).

I document my code assuming that in six months or more I will be coming back to it and saying, "What the heck does this do? ...and how? ...and why?"
