I really can't wait for it to be sunny for more than 2 days straight.
My wife loves it here, otherwise, I would have moved a long time ago. Can't stand the snow.

be thankful you're not in UK
2 straight days of sun is a very rare and special occasion, (or for some: an omen of peril from the gods.)

Oh sorry, I forgot the joke icon,
only because it was so bleeding obvious.
and yes I've been there a few times (and no, not just London). Even lived in Holland for a few years back in the late 80's and during that period went more times to UK (visiting a mate) than Amsterdam. Also visits since.

Well in London, there is most of the year darkness
And any 2 straight days of sun is surrounded by darkness before and after so our memories are simply full of darkness.

Saw on the news this morning y'all are getting hit yet again. Winter just won't let go will it?

Seems that way. They say the sun will come out today for a few hours this afternoon...we shall see.

Yeah, here in southern Ohio last week it was up in the 50s a couple of days. Yesterday was mostly clear and 40s or so.
Last night around 11:30pm went to let dog out and it was snowing again. Already had about 1/2 inch on the ground. What?!
Everything is covered in snow this morning but at least the roads weren't bad.

Free states don't generally have snow.

Ironically, not a free state.

No, I am more of a Southwest U.S. state of mind. Also, this gets me closer to the food groups I enjoy most, which, when it comes down to it, is really why I exist - to feed the belly monster.

I am fairly confident that this is the real reason...public safety and all.

It's my son's first day of school after spring break today, and imagine my surprise waking up to a winter landscape. Luckily the roads were clear. And honestly, the scenery was majestic, like a Pixar movie winter scene. But yeah, I hear ya.
