My parents went to an André Rieu[^] concert in Maastricht last year.
Guess who the "special guest" singer was?

Special, in the "special Olympics" sense?

Special in the "he arrived on stage in KITT" sense.

Are you thinking of The Vans That Time Forgot (1975)? In which Doug McClure is on a submarine and winds up in a strange, forgotten land called Carparkia which is full of neanderthals, dinosaurs, Mk I Ford Cortinas and Susan Penhaligon.
It's one of those films that was great in its day but looks a little bit silly now.

As Peejay writes, it was a good movie back then. Haven't seen it recently, so I can't vouch for how it has stood up to time. I would like to give it a try again, though.

Could it have been a book you read and your mind has turned it into a film you watched, perhaps.

Could it have been an episode of the Twilight Zone?

As a Dutch citizen I'm utterly shocked by this video, that moose ate the tulips

Moose and deer love tulips.
One have to plant them together with something they don't like, for example daffodils, if you want to keep them in your garden.

Quick, get my coat and wooden shoes, into the garden, plant those daffodils

I thought you guys only wear the wooden shoes only when you are driving. At least the poor guy who crossed my path yesterday did.
