Production problems are a "drop everything and fix it now" kind of thing. People can't do their primary jobs, systems down ...
Other problems, like a piece of software won't install on a machine, can wait.

When I work, I work. So if someone was winging golf balls into my cube every couple of minutes the nature of the work would not matter.

In my case, yes. I can read for 7-9 hours straight forgetting about the environment and my body.

I hear that. One time the suns reflection off the pages burned the image of the words onto my face. My wife kept asking me if I was ok, did it hurt etc... She said I was so hard to read sometimes...

Looks similar to PluralSight, yet I've found the PluralSight courses to be outdated.
