Thanks for the comment, this is exactly how i hope everyone to deal with similar Questions.
As you can see, this is the first question of this newcomer.
Solution have been given and in addition a comment to explain what they did wrong.

And no downvote, just a comment instead.

No, I still down-voted the question for the reasons cited above.

Oh, the downvote just appeared now.
Well i am against it, since he is new.
If he had previous questions, i would understand.

Being new is not an excuse.
He's asking us to do his homework for him, and even had the temerity to claim that it wasn't homework, when it very obviously is.
Nobody gets a free pass.

No doubt, i did not like his comment !
But, being new, is an excuse for me, you don't know how you are supposed to do the right things.
Frankly, no one have time nor patience to read a website rules(same for our phone pass contract ).

It's homework. It wouldn't be assigned if the concepts hadn't been reviewed in class. He either didn't pay attention, or didn't ask for clarification on the parts he didn't understand. No free pass.

I don't think its laziness not reading an FAQ, but even if it was, in CP FAQ page, its mentionned that many will not understand FAQ even if they read it, since english is not everyone first language.
I don't think This can be called laziness.

If you can't read the FAQ because it's not in a language you are familiar enough, that's fair enough but you and I both know that's not what you meant. You are basically asking us to give people a free pass because they can't be bothered to find out the etiquette of the forum. That's not going to happen.

I am asking a free temporary pass, to give the chance to members to learn from their first mistakes without being downvoted.
I don't think we will agree with eachother, but i totaly understand your logic.
If i were a teacher, i would not downvote my students for thier first mistakes.

If you dealt with 20 or 30 of them making exactly the same mistake each time, you would soon change your opinion. Thing is, you don't actually help out in the forums much do you? You've not had to live with that never ending miasma of crud. When you have done that for an extended period of time, feel free to come back and tell us how we can behave.

1) Cats are predators.
2) Predators are lazy. They want to get more energy out of their food than it cost them to catch it.
3) Stealing is easier than hunting, so it is a perfectly acceptable way to fill your belly.
When you have a little lion in your house, it's unwise to leave your 'prey' unwatched:

Wow, just learned my sister-in-law is apparently a predator too.

What gets me about that is: I know where he puts his paws, and what he undoubtedly gets on them. Fecal Coliforms, parasites, general unpleasantness.
So the cat is pawing at your food, do you
1) Prevent him making contact with your supper?
2) Just film it (and probably eat it later anyway?
For me, option 1 is going to win every time...

3) #2 #1, if possible, else let him have it or throw it away if I don't want to spoil him.
Sorry, got mixed up with the options. No, I don't want to eat it later.

A horses mouth is probably a lot cleaner than a cat's paws - as anyone who has seen a cat enter a litter tray will attest.

I know! That's why I can't understand how the horse agreed to eat from the same pan with Trinity...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.
