He's a very cute cat. He looks a lot like my cat Raphael, who did a lot of the same kind of stuff. I still miss him, even though it's been years since we had him put to sleep.

When I was in the Marines I started learning to code (back in 1985) so I decided to look into changing my MOS to Programmer. I went and took the entry level test for programmers.
One of the questions was "A bomber is flying at 36,000 feet and drops five 500lb bombs and three 1000lb bombs 10 seconds apart. How far apart do the hit the ground". I failed misserably.
After the test the examiner said I'd never be a programmer. I got up and left.
32 years later I'm still coding.

Doesn't it depend on how fast the bomber is flying? And does the weight of the bombs matter (stones and feathers and all that....)?
And, if it's flying over the sea, thy won't hit the ground at all!
Guess I'll never make a marine!
And... how old is the pilot?

Isn't the answer "10 seconds apart"?

Yes, that is the answer. It was a trick question (sort of) to begin with.

A_Griffin wrote: If a ship had 26 sheep and 10 goats onboard, how old is the ship's captain?[^] Reminds me of this riddle.
You're driving a bus and at the first stop 2 men get on and 4 women get off. At the next stop 3 women and 2 little children get on and one old lady gets off. At the third stop 5 young men get on and one of them is carrying a briefcase. What color is the bus driver's hair?

I suppose you have to be sure you're not asking a bald person that riddle!

The ship had New Zealand registry so the captain is dead from a heart attack trying to 'service' so many 'passengers'.
These questions are too easy!

Easy, the captain must be male and at least 65 years old, no one else could put up with the smell.
