Fair enough. But it mirrors the commonly held perception of the game over here, which doesn't do it justice. Much like how Americans view cricket, unless one is prepared to try and understand the game properly, it's probably best not to have an opinion of it.

As someone who lives in the area where they held the fiasco, it was much more than just 5 hours of torture.
Common sense is admitting there is cause and effect and that you can exert some control over what you understand.

It was a great game. Been an Eagles fan for a long time and it was exciting to see them play a great game and win when it really counts.

"Super Bowl" wouldn't mean anything to the uninitiated either.

Agreed,
My only regret is that Brady didn't spend enough time sitting on his butt in the grass.
But the
Philly defense almost didn't save the game. Fortubatly their offense player well above their ability!

Neither team's defence had much to be proud of - the game was all about offense, and the final score reflects that. But the Eagle's offence was inspired, whereas the Patriot's forgot turn up til the second half... when they did start to play, we must all have thought "Uh oh - here we go again..." but whereas most teams in the past have crumbled at that point, the Eagles just kept on going. It really was great to watch - I've been watching the SB for years now, and that was the best by far.

The downside probably is that those new brain cells probably can only help you to figure out where to get something to eat.
All my cats were like that. All they ever used their brains for was figuring out what to eat next or to find the best place to sleep.
I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats.

That has been suggested as the reason for the mechanism. When hungry the brain has adapted, through evoloution, to be more inventive, creative, sharper, about getting more food.

Unfortunately I don't require much brainpower when I'm hungry to figure out how to get out of my seat and locate the fridge.

Everyone is born right handed. Only the strongest overcome it.

It's like coming home at night and finding you put the cereal in the fridge and the milk in the cupboard.

I've seen this way too many times than I care to count.

Not that I recall. However, Re-Sharper does.

I have SonarLint installed so, yeah forgot to mention that. You can slap me too if you want.
I remember this because I have seen legacy code like this,
bool someVariable;
...
...
bool someOtherVariable = someVariable == true ? true : false;
But I slapped myself over this too.
