Those who speak the truth always face persecution. At least we (usually) don't burn people at the stake, feed them to lions, or crucify them anymore.

I think it's unfair they stopped it; particularly for the lions, they have children to feed too.

People have too high expectations. I expect the AI to replace all error-messages with the text "Operation succeeded."
Or beter yet, the always valid excuse, "vbrun300.dll missing."

That's so sad.
I'd more or less forgotten about the Cranberries until a few years ago I came across this video[^] of them playing Zombie in concert in Paris some time ago, playing to a pretty large and enthusiastic audience. I had no idea they were still going so strong.

Alas, such a beautiful person, with such a wonderful voice, should die so young
Her beautiful songs stay with me, particularly 'Ode to My Family' [^].

Ah, that tears me up. I was only 13 when they were getting big, a fresh-faced rosy-cheeked young Irish lad, just getting into my guitars and music, and I was looking around to try to start my own band at that time as well. Dolores O'Riordan was very unique, spawned a rash of imitators. Watching those videos takes me back something terrible.
This one has to be the most poignant, I think. So simple and sweet.

They are a double paradox.

I stopped using Chrome and I restarted using new FireFox Quantum (until it becomes crap/bloated and I re-switch to Chrome).
Do you use a RSS reader/notification add-in ?
Which one you prefer ? have suggestions ?
Thanks.

Note: I use Android and backup nothing to the Cloud/Google. iThing knowledge is pretty much zero and I bluff my way through customer problems if I can.
My Daughter's iPhone started showing some of her Contacts as unknown, 'maybe Lucy' or as normal. By this I mean the phone numbers were there but not the names for a majority of contacts. All on the phone and no iTunes backup.
While driving her back from work I ask if she has iCloud on, she said 'No, but I did login to Outlook when prompted." She uses Outlook.com and not the App for her email and it turns out she uses the same email/password for Outlook.com and AppleId. Stupid I know.
So it turns out she does have iCloud enabled but not Contact Sync. She logs out of iCloud and when she gets back home finds she has no Contacts. Login to iCloud and enable Contact Sync does nothing. login to www.icloud.com shows no Contacts at all. Also she can't create Contacts on the phone for some of the numbers she has in her Messages.
Anyone have any idea on what might fix this besides petrol and a match and a move back to Android?
