Out of curiosity, since a jigsaw puzzle app is one of the time wasters on my tablet, do you know which one Herself is addicted to?
Mine is jigsaw puzzle epic
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

That's the one she uses - and every week I have to find new cat pictures for her to use as puzzles. Fortunately, t'interwebs appear to have an inexhaustible supply of those.

yeah, you're probably safe on that front.

How about buying her a REAL jigsaw puzzle to bide her time while the screen resets?

The sheer existence of Dij The Cat[^] suggests this might be a poor idea.

Look at it as added time to fix the burn in. "Where IS that last piece?"

Interesting - I didn't think it was possible either.
Googling for exactly that I found at least one post that suggested it might be possible to fix it (I didn't read it however.)

AI isn't there yet, but "The Machine" (or if you are on the dark side, "Samaritan") will be upon us soon enough.
(While a second pass for me, my gf quite enjoyed Person of Interest -- just watched the last episode of the series last night.)

well really my week ended yesterday, 5PM didn't do a lick of work all day.
Finally an article I really appreciated, Lars de Ridder's Stop tech-driven problem-solving[^]
Once in a while I'd see articles and surveys on stuff like blockchain, and think to myself should I really learn that crap - I mean the intent is there and I start reading up, but run out of steam and the eyes start closing about 2 minutes in ('5 minutes' would be lying) - let's face it big data and/or learning hadoop - boring as hell. (Really, I still know nothing about big data except how to spell it, just the thought of what that means tells me it's a stupid idea.)
Lars article I read all the way because it was interesting, and it told me I was right to not waste energy on all that crap. Handy ref too, can slip it in the occasional correspondence for some of the easily fooled by the news customers.
Nice way to end the week: I could have wasted hours, days, weeks of my life on crap ad others even told me I should, but I didn't.
In short: blockchain etc is crap, but more importantly life is to short to waste on it.

Hey, I have this swell solution. How about you go out and find the problem?

I think the article was generally good, but massively incorrect in this area. Big data solutions are proving to be very useful (as in functional end products) in the security realm.

Big Data? Bigger Data! One good hack to steal everything about everyone!

Yeah, I was talking about that rather than using data warehousing and parsing for heuristic analysis of network behavior baselines. Clearly.

FOREST?
A bed's purpose is "for rest" - remove a castle (r for rook)leaving forest which is a synonym for wood.
Spider? I've no idea.
