The Force, dear Luke, is not in our stars but in ourselves.
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

There were complains that posts from new members are going to moderation regardless of content...
I'm just checking it out... so do not take this post seriously...
|
|
|
|
|
It was a quick one... The post went thru without interruption... So the new-user-to-the moderation theory is not a real one...

|

|

So you say: Finding one working example is enough to prove, that the Claim was wrong?
My math teacher will loose his hairs
|
|
|
|

If the claim states that ALL new user's post goes to moderation, than finding one example contradicting it proves it wrong...
But that was not my point - my point is to move on and try to eliminate the real reason... I have this account now and it can be twisted in any way, so if you have an idea I'm ready to test it too...

Is there a cookie?
Perhaps with your older cookie still in place some pre-post checking still considers you an old user.
(Or highly unlikely but something on the server side linked to the IP when first connected? - don't laugh, seen that done.)

I will clear the cookies... but I hope for Chris's shake it is not the case

This post is after a serious clean of the cookies - to test if moderation hits every new post from new user...

Nope... It is something else...
Let see if selling my old under-wares will flag me out...

No. It is obvious that I can't write a good authentic spam message...

Have you tried to post harmless links and / or plausible links for the filters?

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you

One complaint, from Mr. Complainer.

When I created this account back in August just about every post I made for the first month or so went straight to moderation. (Not complaining, just fyi. I just assumed it was the norm, and fair enough really.)

I had that when I came back in my present un dead form a few months ago. Every post came into moderation before being shown. I linked it to the privilege 'Bypass spam checks when posting content'. It's easy to reach by getting silver reputation in any of quite a few categories. Once I had that, my posts appeared normally ever since.
Instead, the whole mess with ever changing layout settings began.

...brake it?
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.
