MSDN did not erode CP, and C# corner either. As long as CP keeps its strength, it will do well continuously. There are some historical cases that popular sites diminished, like myspace.com and a number of search engines (AltaVista, Excite...) . But CP will not be one of them.

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced multi pedal for guitar effects?
It's for a friend of mine who starts out and doesn't want to throw bucket loads of money at it.
I have an old BOSS GT-3 eg. where I'm quite happy with, though the wha pedal is crap.
Anything else out there?

I'm perfectly happy with the pedals I have, although the one in the middle does seem to slow me down a lot every time I use it.

I have, in a Robinson R22.
Great fun, but an expensive hobby - my instructor described it as "turning money into noise"

I would get a license if I had any real justification for it. So, did the little R22 have a gyro to assist you with countering torque or did you have to do it the honest way?

The honest way, with the help of a piece of string to show you which way you were actually flying...

That's one of the biggest problem with simulators or models. You get no chance to develop a sense of how it is turning. Modern machines have gyro assistance, the 'honest' ones need the string at the beginning.

At a pinch, I've gigged with one of these bad boys[^]. I much prefer a discrete pedalboard, but this one's serviceable.

Never seen the use of Pedals (I'm a Bass player) but if you can still get it the Boss unit Pete recommends or a Zoom unit (cool sounds, to work on!)

Never had one, but I can state that the Crybaby Dunlop wah wah just dies after a year. Dont get one. Ever.
Whatever you do get though, get it from Thoman.de unless you know an even cheaper place, and I dont reckon such a place exists.
Anyway I have a boss distortion, a fuzz box and chorus from Danelectro, and a broken Crybaby. Danelectro are cheap, but OK.
Main thing is the amp though, has to be valve. I have a Peavey VK 212, pretty sure with a mix of Sovtec and Tungsol valves, but it makes a really chewy sound.
Anyway, didnt really answer your question, but just thought I would throw in my experience in general.
