Dude, you've been here an hour and yours was the first non-code post I've seen in a very long time that was formatted in a code block...a post that was not even your own! Well, what have you to say for yourself?
Or maybe you're just trying to annoy us more, hmm?

I think it is a result of pasting their questions rather than typing them, and then they don't understand the "paste" dialog they get. It's a good indicator, if you lack the computer skills to past text into a textbox unformatted then how can you possible figure out the solution to your issues?
Why they are pasting is the next issue....obvious many are just pasting their homework straight from the source, but I think others are pasting their question from somewhere else they have asked like SO etc.

So I am now running the pre-release evaluation version of the 2017 Fall Creator's Update of Windows 10, and everything seems just dandy (so far). I notice some nice features in Edge, like the ability to "set aside" tabs for quick recall later. I did not see this in the old Edge.
Are there any other brave souls out there in the same boat?

I've just gotten through the update to the first CU. It rendered my laptop useless for almost an hour and a half. As a warning to others, if given the choice do not install this update if you are in a hurry!...and now I see another restart is required.
Honestly, I don't really see anything new with this update that interests me. I just want to get my work done.

I noticed three issues with the very latest release:
1) There is an update for SiverLight that keeps re-installing again and again - ad-infinitum. It never succeeds.
2) When you plug in an external USB drive, there is no pop-up Windows Explorer window.
3) When you try to use the snip tool, it takes an awful long time to open, like about 5 seconds.
The issues have been reported to MS. I have gone back to the main Windows 10 version. I will be patient and wait till the next release is more stable.

You seem to be new on CP, so I will give you a bit of advice: Do not plagiarize others! Your message is a word-for-word copy of an earlier post that I made:
The Lounge[^]
You will not last long copying the words of others.

Damn, I totally missed that...was wondering why OP was in a code block, but that was answered with the next post.

I'd understanding plagiarizing coding articles, but lounge messages? That's gotta be a new low...

We're lucky he didn't just take a screen shot and post that instead
- seems these days all newbies do that when posting code in Q&A and in SO too

Since he's new and it was only a Lounge message, I decided to cut him some slack with only a warning. I did not report him. Hopefully he'll take notice.

He might be a social media message bot! Just copying other messages and re-posting them to establish a reputation.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery?
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

Has anyone noticed that Shutdown is taking longer in this release - or is it just me?

Can't say yet, every shut down since has involved another update to the update. One thing I don't like is the Edge tab in IE...because they really, really, really want me to use it for some reason. I wonder how long before they kill IE?

This cannot be just ignorance, it shows an acute lack of rudimentary logical and analytical skills. In other words, these people have got to be clinical idiots.

I think it says a lot about the US education system that people like that can get to adulthood ...
Mind you, I suspect you'd get quite a few "brown cow" enthusiasts over here as well, if you picked your locations a little carefully.
