Thanks for trying.
I installed the update and went back and still cannot play the video.
Also, those "filters" on the codeproject home page [all], [Android], [c#], [c++] do not work.
This is very odd.

Using Edge - the CP filters seem to do something once in a while - but behaviour undefined - e.g. clicking on SQL might get you C#. If you're lucky.
ooo... wait - I just clicked Mobile and got Mobile... I think... mmm... hamsters... roulette wheel... hmmm...
Most odd.

Okay, so maybe that is the site and not me.
Thanks for chiming in.

Just checked the filters on CP home page with IE11. Either they don't work, or I don't know what I'm doing...probably the latter. Clicking any filter shows the same content and doesn't seem to be 'remembered' when going back to the home page. All is always selected...maybe that's just the way it works???

Thanks for trying.
That is not the way it works actually, because I used that functionality in the past few weeks and it worked.
I am an Android dev and normally I can click the Android one and it will stick there and show only most current Android articles until I click another. it will stick there over browser sessions normally which is nice if you read a particular type of article.
Thanks,

I get the same results as you. Running Edge. The video doesn't work for me either.

Thanks for replying. Okay, I guess there is something odd going on with that site.
I was just having all of these issues and couldn't figure out what was going on.
you know what else? I went into my wife's computer and it is knocked off the Internet again and it says, "Please activate Win10".
I've documented this issue here at: The Lounge: Ubuntu To The Rescue[^]

Maybe try again to activate her Windows, using the Windows 7 key???

I just activated her machine successfully again using the Win 7 product key.
It had been activated for a week and running fine.
Well, I believe the M$ registration process gets lonely and needs some attention and so it reaches out and asks me to visit every week.

Thanks for trying. They still don't work on my machine on :
Chrome : Version 55.0.2883.87 m
or Edge 38.14393.0.0
Works on firefox. Craziness.
I've rebooted again too.

Yesterday the video didn't work for me, but today it's working fine. Must have been an issue on their website that they fixed since yesterday.

Thanks very much for trying and posting.
I also updated the original post with an edit so others would know.

the home page tabs on codeproject.com do not show the one that I choose neither, it seems to lock on a random one. I also tried it on Firefox, using different VPN (locations), different browser locations, etc.

Thanks for commenting.
I agree, that problem looks like a bug on CP site.
It worked a few weeks ago.
i've also tried with numerous browsers.

Did you report this? I'm sure Chris would like to know of these problems.

I hadn't because I was unsure if mine would be a duplicate bug -- already reported.
I will go ahead and report it now on bugs & sugs.
Thanks.

I just checked and looks like it has already been reported (in bugs & sugs) and fixed.
