But some of our QA visitors do seem rather ... um ... thick as two bricks glued together?
Just been dealing with someone who seems to believe that if the MS code sample for a class (in this case PrintDocument) shows it used from a button click event handler then that's the only place you can use it.
It's not just me that thinks that's spectacularly dim, is it?

I have to say that everytime I see see functional code in an event handler, rather than calling out to a method, I distrust the author. Bad practice begets bad practice.

Yeah, it is just you. In my latest application, it's a windows form with one button on it, and in the click event handler I'm starting up an ASP.net core web server that serves up an MVC web site.
That's the only way to program.
