That reminds me of Steve jobs saying for Tablets "Macbooks should come with Sandpapers to use those arrow keys:
You can have all the tools in the world but if you don't genuinely believe in yourself, it's useless.

Just got a Lenovo lappy and they put the page up key where the shift key should be. It would be bad enough if I was a touch typist but I'm not and it is really irritating.

One of my lappies (ASUS K53S) has the inverted T cursor keys such that up lives where my finger expects the last bit of the right shift key. So, hold shift, glance down for $ or whatever and wind up typing 4 a couple of pages above where I intended $ . GRRR!!!! Fortunately I found a decent wireless keyboard/mouse combo. The keyboard with the legs down neatly straddles the lappie keyboard. And a real rodent beats the hell out of a touchpad.
Cheers,

I later found I can have both active as only the install disables the touchpad.

Must be the same bunch of guys who insist putting a "fn" key on bottom left of all laptop keyboard, instead of usual Ctrl.

My new mobile phone has a feature that activates every Sunday, and creates a lovely slideshow, complete with soothing music, of all the photos taken during the week.
So now I can sit down, every Sunday, and enjoy a lovely candle-lit meal with my beautiful wife, and we can gaze with unabashed romanticism at the pictures of hardware cabinets, server blades, terminal servers, etc.
Such joy these amazing phone-app developers bring us, and how wise they are to make the apps impossible to uninstall (without root), because it is certain that everyone will want the apps to switch themselves on every Sunday until forever.

Use this to uninstall unwanted application without root-ing your phone: The Magic Tool[^]
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Ah, but one must not give in to temptation -- especially on a Sunday.

At least you'd get the chance to say "Shall we try a glass of this with dessert?"
The best result I could have is to spot a fibre that's been shoved in the wrong switch port, and the happy discussion that could ensue on RSTP failures.

Note to self: be sure to delete / transfer / otherwise remove pictures of lovely girlfriend taken during the week prior to Sunday or plan on making appointment with divorce lawyer.

Good idea!
And you can do it safely, too, because google, dropbox, the NSA, and all their uncles will all keep back-up copies for you!

Why did you have to say you missed* the rain[^]?
Thursday and Friday were total wash outs and a lot of roads have been damaged around here with drains bursting and the roads collapsing on top. The biggest I know of is a good 5m long taking out the main highway near where we live. I now have to try and find a back-up, back-up route for school as this morning was another marathon 3 hour round trip!
Today looks sunny though and, if Mrs Wife fancies it, it may be good enough for a late afternoon swim in the Med. Swings and roundabouts, innit.
Hows your Sunday?
