Er, well, yes, there was one who didnt take us out on irresponsible field trips to old tin mines who was later investigated....

You cannot be objective when you are involved.

Mediocrity ? There is a world between leaving out a child every other billion times, and leaving them out every time. In the first case, I would not talk about mediocrity.

Rage wrote: There is a world between leaving out a child every other billion times, The stats used give a big number - but it's actually not relevant to the argument.
If keeping track of the children is too difficult in France (or the EU, in general?), then perhaps you've enough extras to pick up the slack. Don't worry about the occasional murder, either.
Consider that hundreds of millions of people go out every day and even if you murder a hundred, it's one chance in a million. Why waste the resources. In fact, expanded to the annual rate, as you've done, and it comes out to about the same stats.
Well - that's one way to cut the law enforcement budget! Damn nanny state. If you can't afford kevlar and body armor, that's a chance you'll have take upon yourself.

Besides the original subject country being France, many EU laws now are continent-wide. But, if you'll note the sarcasm* throughout the response, it would disturb you less.
We all know that those children are actually used as feed at the escargot hatcheries.

They lost 6.25% of the very young children in their care, and didn't notice until hours later when the parents came to pick up their missing toddler.
If you're paid to look after children, and you fail to notice when 1/16th of them go missing, then you're clearly not fit to do your job.
It's not about a magic bullet to stop mistakes from being made. It's about making sure that you don't leave your children in the care of people who are dangerously unfit to look after them.

Once, just once, I'd love to hear a news report about a missing child and then have the reporter go into some rant about it amounting to a rounding error.

Hello all,
I am attempting to record video using a game capture device (razer ripsaw) the console mainly in question is my PS3 the software I'm using to record the footage is something called OBS studio (seems to be the favorite with people who use this specific capture card).
The problem I'm having is that everything seems to work but I get a preview of my TV screen on my capture preview but then it goes black and it repeats that over and over again.
Most places say its a HDCP issue. Does anyone know of any way to fix this or some way to work around it? Iv heard using a HDMI splitter takes care of that but, but also iv heard it could be a issue with the computer receiving information from my play-station 3 an interrupt if you will any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
