My guess is that this is pre-TOS as the ship's hull number is NCC-1031.

Where does it fit between TOS and STE (with Scott Bakula)?

Well, see, Scott Bakula leaped into the body of a 22nd century starship captain... Obviously the machine malfunctioned somehow, because despite Ziggy's best efforts, Sam ended up living several years in that body before leaping out. Usually it happens as soon as he solves some big problem in their life, but I guess he just didn't accomplish anything.
But because of his efforts, he changed the past, and now TOS never actually happened, so this is actually a third new timeline, after STE.

TOS
TNG
DS9
STV
STE
and now
STD
Hmm...maybe a different name would have been better.

Oh man, that looks good. Cannot wait to see that...

What an awful looking ship! Is it my imagination, or did the rendering look lower quality than many fan-made ships? Whatever happened to elegance?

Well, let's see, we had
TOS (The Original Series)
STNG (Star Trek Next Generation)
STDS9 (Deep Space Nine)
STV (Voyager)
STE (Star Trek Enterprise)
And now we have
STD
You would think that by the time the 23rd century comes around, they would have to deal with STDs any more...

As someone who s-canned my TV because of commercials many years ago, I have no idea what CBS All Access is.
I'm guessing it's the usual advertisement infested garbage where they took shows, edited them to remove all the humor, then slapped ads all over them, chopped them up to fit in their time slots and blast them at blithering idiots?
If so, bye bye Star Trek. No broadcast networks for me.
(and that's my favorite show, all the back to 1969)

WTF.
I getting more and more inclined towards don't mess with ant hill way. Let them do whatever they want in their homeland. You are not allowed here and we don't care what happens there approach is seems sensible.
Note: Any further discussions on this should be in Soapbox/Backroom IMHO.

It just struck me: an interesting consideration the the current news of the day should be in the SoapBox.
Just an interesting consideration.

This could too easily drift into a SoapBox matter. Hopefully, I won't.
The reality is our western perspective doesn't apply to rational decisions from non-western perspectives.
Being kind, forgiving, or helpful is often seen as appeasement is a sign of weakness - and vultures don't bring you a canteen of water if you collapse in the desert. The wait for the proper moment to feed on your flesh.
Israel has been suffering from this many little attacks for quite a while. The Swedish foreign minister condemned them for shooting the knife/gun/car wielder without a trial. For all practial purposes, encouragement. Now it's in the EU. Now what?

Mr Herrmann said he was "incensed" by the attack which, he continued, demonstrated the need to "strengthen controls on those we have living in our country".
Hmmm. My response, beyond "the policy a certain presidential candidate..." is probably better left for the S.B.
