Gorilla? I think we have bigger fish to fry with regards to "even if it saves one child." You might want to start with the top 5[^] human "groups" before ranting on about killing every gorilla if it saves one child.

My point: aren't we mammals?
Aren't we the problem?

Couldn't agree more.
In fact humans are really just like a cancerous growth on the planet and like all cancers, will just end up killing the host....

OK most of us are mammals!

There's only really one species of mammal that causes problems, so getting rid of just that one would be enough.
Unfortunately for us, it's us.

Gorilla children aren't the cutest around, but still cuter than those of humans.
It also seems the average ape is more intelligent than you.
Those are only two reasons why I have to disagree with you.
But as an evil psychopath I'm sure you wouldn't understand

I just really dislike children, there's no hole anywhere...
And it's not because I'm not a father either. I know lots of people who like children and want to have them that are not (yet) a father.
I just never liked them. When children are around I won't be around for much longer if I have a choice.
That said I'd probably shoot the gorilla too if it was the only option for getting the child back.
But I wouldn't shoot ALL gorilla's to save a child.
And killing a gorilla is never fun or deserved, even if a child's life is in danger.

I dispute your point of view. The manufacture of children appears to be a very well understood process, as the population is steadily increasing. The gorilla population, is, however, in decline.

Why not? This is more interesting than most stuff in the Lounge.
