Two practical jokes I've played on colleagues with those.
- remove the ball; place it in the drawer. The use was getting frustrated because it wouldn't work and almost called for a replacement before looking. This is also shortly after we moved from VT terminals to desktops, so not as used to the 'feel' of a mouse yet.
- find an identical mouse; loosely tie the cords together leaving one plugged into the desktop unit; drop the mouse plugged in behind the desk; put the unplugged mouse on the desk with the cord hanging over the back of the desk. Because the desk was so close to the wall, it wasn't obvious there were two items at play.

If we have to draw a chart to illustrate the ratio between Power-spent-on-CP vs Power-spent-on-other-things, the chart would come up like a Pac-man shape[^].

I have a Logitech set that (supposedly) lasts for 3 years on one set of batteries. It's been about a year and a half since I got them, and they still are on the original set of batteries.

Where's your math skills? The atrocity of September 11 happened in 2001. So, a voter today that would be too young to remember 9/11 (who is going to vote this year) would need to have been about 3 or 4 years old on 11 September 2001, making them 18 or 19 years old on 8 November 2016.
BTW, my son, who was 3 at the time, vividly remembers the attacks.

Yes I wasn't being serious, it just doesn't seem like that long ago.
I remember it well [but don't] as I was on a plane at the time [flying in Europe] and the pilot told us over the tannoy once we'd landed, so whilst I missed it happening I was very aware by the time I was in the airport.

Don't worry, Trump would be a greater, history-making disaster if he wins the election. We all get leveled up with the young ones.
