Demon! Go Back to your VB6 !

Slow to code, but with the potential to fail very, very quickly.

well.. you can still do it with ints!
int x = 2;
int y = 3;
Console.WriteLine(x ^ y)
Works fine by me!

aren't you the lucky one

Are you sure?
'^' is the C# bitwise XOR operator, so you'll get 1, not 8...([PickyPickyMode]if you add the missinge semicolon so it'll compile[/PickyPickyMode])

I only miss the InputBox, albeit as it's.net you can use it anyway referencing Microsoft.VisualBasic.Interaction.InputBox.

Well, if that's the syntax, then that's the syntax. Try writing in Finnish; the syntax of that really will drive you crazy.

You could always suggest it as a language enhancement here[^].

That's a great example of the cruft you find in VB code, instead of:
double AnyoneButVBProgrammers = 8;

It's something about the journey in general, not its end point in this case. I'm pretty sure the famous programmer Confucius said something like this too.
|
|
|
|

But in VB you don't write:
double Wonderful = 2^3;
That's (mostly) C#.
In VB, you write:
Dim Wonderful As Double = 2^3
If your problem is excessive verbosity, then VB is not your friend.
If you think 'goto' is evil, try writing an Assembly program without JMP.

How to measure a lost fish? The answer is blowing in the wind.

Hints? For a CCC? Shame on you...
But they gave me ANEMOMETER As an anagram of "more tea men"...
And the "blowing in the wind" and "How to measure" bits fit, - but how is "an emo" a lost fish?
