Not feeling pain is a Bad Thing: it's there as a warning that you have sustained damage. If you don't feel the pain, then you don't treat the damage and it gets worse not better. That's why Lepers are supposed to lose fingers, toes and so forth. The disease doesn't make them drop off, it destroys the nerve endings which carry the pain signals so infection becomes a real problem. (About a hundred people a year are diagnosed with leprosy in the USA)

What is the leprosy rate in you neck of the woods? I see, you only mentioned USA.

Between 2001 and 2013 there have been 167 cases of leprosy in England and Wales, all of them in people travelling to the country, mostly from South Asia.
It is over 60 years since someone caught it here.

Just tried an example without looking too close.
I should know better by now.
They had copied the example from a related dmv and did not change it. So I look and the dmv I wanted was not even in the example. 
Put the correct one in and works fine, but why should I have to fix something that I am trying to learn from?

There are tons of examples still floating around that use the 2005 version of Adventureworks that don't work with the newer versions due to minor schema changes. I found one the other day where I had to spend an hour tinkering with the dmv/code to even get it to work.
Another time, following an example from a book, I got an unhandled exception when opening a print preview window, even though my code matched the book exactly. Handling/ignoring the error meant the print preview failed entirely. I spent days trying to figure it out, even posting the problem at the publisher's website before I changed my default printer and the error went away!

Last night I posted an update for a web application that included new sorting features on most of the datagrids. (thanks tablesorter.js!) Anyhow, part of the new design are indicators in the column headers to show the sort status and direction.
I've just received two emails from the client that it looks great except the indicators are reversed for the sort directions...except they're not! Ascending is represented by a down arrow and Descending is an up arrow...just like it is in Excel and everywhere else! I shall give them what they ask for...even if it doesn't make sense.

Ascending is normally a triangle pointing up and descending one pointing down.
