I've sold the tiles and I hired someone to make a path. I only need to get the weeds out of the way and sow some grass... It doesn't look very neat, but at least it's now identifiable as a garden
But a little green in the back does look nice

You can get them with RFID, so only your cat can use it.

My Xmas post is really bothering you, isn't it?
I'm sorry if I somehow offended you, that wasn't my intent.
Anyway, humanity never was my thing

Just saw that SQL code, and now I'm shaking...

Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?

Trying to modify a query of a report and ex-colleague created. It's hell messy. Just can't understand what kind of coder he was. It's just freakin' messy
Aah.. I'm shaking, and it's quite cold here, too

Don't worry, you can always hand it over to somebody who understands it...

Sad news - saw Motorhead several times over the years, from '81 at Leeds Queens Hall to Glastonbury this year (where he looked very frail) - also saw him reunite with Hawkwind at their 30th anniversary gig at Brixton Academy.

It's so hot down here these days, it's 28 °C now, at 11h10, but by 15h00 it should be over 30 °C. Yesterday it was 33 °C just after 18h00, at elephanting sunset! This is an average day and on bad days it goes up to >= 35 °C.

Air conditioning (run as heating). If the temperature drops too far for this to work properly, electric blow heaters.

Yes. Air conditioner is good - as long as you have electricity, and no-one can promise it in the middle of nowhere...

This year, the electricity company couldn't even keep the electricity running in the center of Israel. At least in Modi'in (where I live), it's been reliable.
(Now that I've mentioned it, I expect a massive power failure...)

Central heating or fires. We live in a climate where we expect sub-zero temperatures at this time of the year. Strangely, this year we are not getting them, and today it will be above 10 or 11.
