Hi Chris, you might be surprised at what new words/phrases have been added to the Oxford English Dictionary, the palladial/benchmark dictionary:
the OED "word of the year" for 2015 is: [^] the ‘Face with Tears of Joy’ emoji.
underbeard
sideboob
vape (2014 "word of the year")
ruptured duck
pod person
po-faced
tin hat
fyi: zing, zonk, and x-factor are all in the OED, while xerographed doesn't appear as a separate entry, I consider it a fair extrapolation from xerography and xerographic which are valid entries.
cheers, Bill
