Nothing to say really. Just waiting for an update to finish and thought I would post to give me something to do.
I hope everyone has a good weekend. Raining here. I have an outside wedding to go to later today.

Don't work too hard on the weekend, and I hope the wedding doesn't get rained upon!

Is that Indian for raining like an elephant pissing on you?

There are holes in the sky
Where the rain gets in
But they're ever so small
That's why the rain is thin.

This is Wales. We have four seasons per year, and all of them involve water falling from the sky in copious quantities.

I am at Mrs. Wife's grandmother's house (said grandmother passed away last year), preparing to load a rental truck with furniture and bric-a-brac to bring home to my house and my mother-in-law's. I see muscle relaxants in my not too distant future

I have long been a fan of Chrome and found it to do all the things I want from a browser. However, since moving to Windows 10, it seems a little less stable. It often seems to have a delay before you can scroll a window when first loaded. And more recently it started hanging randomly, for no discernible reason, always requiring a restart. Anyone else seeing similar issues?

Nope, it works fine for me.
I'm using the 64 bit version [45.0.2454.85 m (64-bit)] and although the latest version does seem to be a bit slow to release memory if you load a lot of pages it works well.
Which version are you running?

Same as you: Version 45.0.2454.85 m (64-bit). Looks like the problem is with my system, but it has been rebooted a few times so I don't think it's something stuck in memory. Looks like I'll have to do some further diagnosing.

Out of interest, are you using Windows Defender? Because it was a real system killer for me, it slugged everything - I changed to Kaspersky and it seems a whole load better.

Yes, thanks for the suggestion I will look into using something else. I had heard bad reports about Kaspersky, so I guess it has improved, maybe I'll give it a try.

Just a thought: They have a free trial for a month, and after a couple of weeks they offered me a 70% discount. Brought it down from £36 per year to £11 pa for the first one or two years.
