It has no mention of what context you post the answer in.

My County Library is a subscriber, so my library card number gives me full access for free.
Yours may well do the same, if you are a member. If not, then join! You are going to be paying for it via your Council Tax anyway, so you may as well get some benefit!
(And supporting public libraries is important, both because of the recession and the massive changes they are meeting with the rapid move to electronic books)

I guess I should formally declare you the winner then. Care to give the solution for completeness?

Damnit! I was trying to give the others a chance! (And maybe a little clue...)
I cannot crack these FUN CODES(8)
Anagram: FUNCODES == CONFUSED
And ok, I'm up tomorrow...

I'm totally "fun codes" on this.
1. Where is the definition?
2. How is this a definition for an adjective.
3. "These" would hint at a noun and in plural even!
This looks like there are now no rules at all for the construction of a CCC.
Please explain!

It's a bit of fun.
I don't really understand what I'm doing.
People worked out the answer.
F*** it.

Closest I could get was "I cannot crack" being the "confused" bit, "these" indicating anagram, and "FUN CODES" being the words to anagrammatize. But, I got the anagram straight away and post-rationalised the beginning so that bit was pretty much a guess.

I cannot crack these fun codes, the fun codes are crossword clues, the whole thing means confused.
Crack these means what follows is an anagram.
I just made all that up, but it makes sense to me. If it's not good enough because of some struck laws of clue setting I didn't adhere to then I'm more than happy to not bother anymore.
Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.
