From the GitHub wiki editor "help":
To create a paragraph, simply create a block of text that is not separated by one or more blank lines. Blocks of text separated by one or more blank lines will be parsed as paragraphs.
I mean, after thinking about it, I get what they mean, but "create a paragraph" usually means, for me, creating a paragraph separate from other paragraphs. The first instruction would be cleared if it said "to create text within a paragraph..."

Er ... no ... just, no!

Why not? I think Marc made a valid point.

Because there is no paragraph until there is text! You can have text without paragraphs, you can't have paragraphs without text!

That's exactly the point, the docs didn't elude to that at all. The first thing it said was "to create a paragraph" even though it was talking about creating text within one. Marc made a valid point.

Is the documentation for the wiki on a wiki? If so, fix it.

I know -- I think my subject line should have been "doesn't that sound contradictory?"
My subject line wasn't very intuitive, haha.

Yes, this is a problem that I have complained about, a few times. Chris and crew are aware. So far you have to wait a few minutes and your post will show up. Just go with the flow, I guess.

Yeah, I'm not upset, actually though it was humorous. When I saw the moderation email I realized where my post went. I see it's there, and the novelty has worn off...

- Months start at 0. January is 0. WTF. I realize this is probably because whatever sh*t for brains wrote Date was thinking, oh, month should be an index so month[0] == 'January". Idiot.
- Changes date even though I'm only providing a date, so the time defaults to 0 Zulu, which means that at the moment, today is yesterday somewhere in the world, so all my dates are back one day. Same UI later in the day shows the correct date.
