For my secret world take over the world project I created an ....
unbounded multi-threaded spatial index!
Quite proud with myself.
Best thing..... It's working!  
TBH it's just some kind of spatial grid (not that innovative) but I added the unbounded and multi-threaded bits! (that's the innovative parts!)
