Shirley "You got mail" must be a contender?

Not for me, I don't like neither Tom Hanks nor Meg Ryan (no matter how many orgasms she can fake)...
And don't call me Shirley!

You don't like Tom Hanks in that movie or in general?
As he has acted in some very awesome movies, Cloud Atlas and Green Mile come to mind.
I can understand you not liking Meg Ryan in general.. I don't either

In general. I haven't seen Cloud Atlas, but despite my antagonism against Tom Hanks, I would like to...
I can't say why, just think that he may be too wimpish for me.

The United States invariably does the right thing, after having exhausted every other alternative. -Winston Churchill

I was afraid of how Halle Berry was going to be in that movie, but it was ok in my opinion.
Yeah I can understand why you would think of him as wimpish. I mean he did play in Saving Private Ryan - but as I recall that is the only movie, where he really is a tough guy.

I am totally out of touch with the movies world and the only one I can think of is "The Matrix" with Keanu Reeves as "Neo" when one of the Agents says "The search is already runing ..." or something like this ... this is for me the best and only IT related movie

These are just IT related movies that come to mind.
Hackers
War Games
Matrix
Pirates of Silicon Valley
Terminator?
iRobot
SwordFish
Tron
Blackhat

Also, most of the Bond movies involve transfer of billions using computers.

Not sure about film off-hand. But for TV you should definitely check out "The IT Crowd".

My Nan is having here 89th birthday today. Just got off the phone with her, she went on a bus trip with her Senior Citizens group to the Central Coast. Back home making herself dinner. Still living by herself.
Heading up country on the weekend to celibrate her 3rd childs 60th. The eldest Grandkid is 46 and eldest Great Grandchild is 18.
I'll have to start putting away to have a big 90th party for her next year.

Yup, that's me, a mere stripling. But I do have a pal who is in his 90s and was a navigator for the RAF back in the 40s. Got a DFC and bar for his troubles (guiding his aircraft over Germany).
