Overconfidence?
Normal Doctor attitude of omniscience? Normally followed by the "Oh sh*t", "I did nothing wrong", and "Not my fault..." phases.
Sorry to hear about the lady - hope she recovers (as best she can) soon.

Normal Doctor attitude of omniscience? Could be, but that wasn't a problem in the past 16 years...

Not sure it'll get that far...
I don't think my friends have legal insurance and it's pretty expensive to hire a lawyer.
Besides, the whole situation is bad enough as it is, a lawsuit won't make her heal and it only costs a lot of time and effort.
And money if you're not on the winning side too! And I'm not sure how much money could be won in such a case, especially if the fault isn't clearly human.

Must be one of the most ridiculous movies of all time.
I saw it yesterday and couldn't decide whether to cringe or laugh.
It's an extreme parody of the action movies from the eighties made as a kickstarter almost without a budget.
Also expect loads of references to eighties computer games and hackers, as well as laser shooting dinosaurs and a Kung Fu fighting Hitler and especially for V: The worst one liners in history.
"Knock knock"
"Who's there"
"Knuckles"
Oh, and the lead soundtrack[^] is by the Hoff.
If you still want to see it despite my warnings, it's available on youtube[^].

But...does it have sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads?

No.
But isn't that a nineties movie?

Don't care. If it's got The Hoff on tunes, I ain't touching it unless it has got sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads!

He was at the right place at the right time with the right song.

And a more embarrassing excuse for an "actor" the world did not get to see until Nicolas Cage started his career...

Norman was perhaps not a great actor but was a great singer and a total expert at pratfalls!

Anything with David "A legend in his own mind" Hasselhoff has got to be terrible.

After watching Google IO Keynote I think it's time to switch to Android, despite the annoying issues of Android.
Specially the new UI with Material Design is very nicely done.
Quick recap in 10 minutes[^]
I am currently using Windows Phone. It works just fine but I think Microsoft is taking too long to catch-up. I don't know why they are so slow. The Outlook Mail app, which is very good on iOS and Android is not even available for Windows Phone. Windows Phone 10's new features looks like a minor version, more like a v 8.2.

I can only say LOL!
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

I was told to look at Google's Project Vault.
So, I opened http://www.google.com
I entered "Google Project Vault"
Not one page from google itself, while there are hits all over the place from Cnet and dozens of others.
Is there a way to get straight to the horse's mouth on all this ?

My guess is that Google doesn't have a site up for this yet (unlikely, but possible).

Look here: [^].
This is a Google ATG project that ... my guess is ... is not ready for prime-time, and they are keeping it "low-profile," for now.

Just spent 20 minutes there.
Looked at five, maybe ten files.
No clue what I was viewing.

Google loves you more than me ! A LOT more !
I just repeated the process five minutes ago. (i.e., placing "google vault" into Google)
Results were decidedly different from what they were this weekend.
Wow, were the results different this time !
Two days ? Completely different behavior ? What gives ?

...and we have a new home.
At this point we're still hovering nervously over pages and pages of graphs and performance monitors. No matter how much testing you do it always works out differently in Real Life.
If you see anything weird (and I don't mean some of the members) then please let us know. If you see any files missing, odd 404s or minor explosions also please let us know.
I'd also be keen to hear how performance is. We're on completely new hardware and a new network in a new location. We're keen to see how this all adds up.
cheers

Cheers! Good luck with the new hosting centre!
But... should everything look exactly the same at this point? Could there be caching issues or something else that has to warm up or settle? Because ATM no forum looks like it should for me. Tons of posts missing; one post I saw has switched forum; in Bugs&Sugs a reply without OP..
edit: Apparently things are shaking themselves into place or are being shaken into place - some of the forums are back to their state as of yesterday.
