Ok, I've voted... I'll vote for anything that doesn't cost me money!
Good luck with that. I worked for seven years helping set up Amadeus CRS for airlines, hotels, etc. They are now the largest CRS in the world. Nice to see they might have some competition for the smaller businesses.

About two weeks ago, I was given a technical assessment, after meeting with a prospective client. The assessment was an html5/angular based single page app, where I had never used angular before - hardly even knew what it did. I didn't lose sleep over the assignment, because I didn't want to excel and appear more competent than I would be in a normal day's work with pure front end stuff, but the product I delivered did everything it was supposed to, with angular, and the client has just mailed me regarding a three month contract. Yay!

I don't drink. My celebrations these days would perhaps be more herbal, but CP has no emoji for that.

Erm...I hope you are not referring to dagga?

|

Why, what's wrong with dagga, besides its bloody illegality?

I have no clue. I am probably scared of using cannabis.

Saw him live this weekend.
And while I still find him very good, I have to say that standup comedy is much better in smaller venues.
When you're at an arena you end up watching a big screen rather than the person directly, and in the case of Eddie Izzard you're missing out if you do that.

I agree.
When he was doing the European tour of Force Majeure I had the luck to buy tickets before he was sold out and my girlfriend and I went to see him.
He was hilarious and everyone could see him as he was performing in a theatre.
I am sorry for missing Jimmy Carr this year but he was sold out in a week.

Surprised to see so much energy in demeaning and insulting the article and author.
Check out this comment - Understanding ASP.NET Roles and Membership - A Beginner's Tutorial[^]
I wonder why someone would write anything like this. Perhaps I am overreacting but these kind of comments do make me wonder whether I should even be doing all this article/Q&A stuff at all.
P.S. How the heck the religion comes in this context. I guess some people are too shallow to think anything else.

I have seen these comments before. They actually have nothing to do with your article. Last time it was also racial slur directed at members from the Middle East.
Clearly abuse.

Rahul, Congratulations on your being an MVP for 2015 !
It is unfortunate, but it seems like ... these days ... every public forum is going to, at some time, be subjected to somebody's malicious flame using "hate speech."
For the spew of such disturbed minds, and corrupted souls, let us apply the kaopectate of silence. I am certain this loser's account will be cancelled quickly.

Reported.
Next time bring it to the Spam and Abuse Watch forum. That user needs to be removed.

I've deleted the comment, and reported the member in the appropriate placee: http://www.codeproject.com/Forums/1652005/Spam-and-Abuse-Watch.aspx[^] - his account will be closed in short order.
You may see a "Red Flag" at the bottom of comments and messages (I don't know if you can, it depends on your rep) which allows you to report a message, and you are always welcome to post spam and abuse reports in the forum, where we can see them, and kill them.
Sorry about that - morons breed on the internet, and some of them find their way here regardless of what we do...

I have reported the comment as abusive and the member as abusive too.
I was just wondering about the extent to which some people go to vent out their frustrations and thus posted here. But i guess your words sums it up very nicely and i should keep them in mind before taking such petty issues seriously.

Afraid so - but if you let them get to you, then they win. If you can, just ignore it, report, and move on...
