Of course!

While at the university, learnt to use Tex (and Latex) for typesetting. Great software - can do wonders with it - especially with mathematical formulae. Heard that its creator Knuth had offered a challenge - that he would pay $ 2.56 per bug found, and this was increased ever year.
Not sure whether such a challenge can be offered now.

It's great fun, and very satisfying, to use, but don't expect (or try) to use it out in the real world, because it's way too labour-intensive, and eats through a Hell of a lot more budget than the more "user friendly" options.

Hello all,
I would like to be able to make calls while driving without having to touch the phone... time ago, when I had a blackberry I was able to use the keyboard shortcuts and to use the offline voice assistant to make calls and both methods worked like charm.
Now with my S4 I can get the Samsung thing (S Voice) to do it, but only when it wants to work... It looks like that if I would like to get a call done (something like "call AAA BBB cell phone") it won't work if no good internet connection is present.
Now this is something I used quite often while driving and of course is something I'm missing now.
Any recommendation? I'd like to use the DRAGON MOBILE ASSISTANT application, but it looks like it is not available in Spain .
As always thank you all in advance!

I've tried Utter![^] and Andy[^], which were "best picks" somewhere or other. Both work pretty well in English, but I'm not sure about localisation.

I'll test Utter this weekend... let's see what it does...

Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

That song so reminded me of Allan Sherman[^] kind of work. Had he only lived long enough to see all these moronic acts, he'd certainly have made a song like that.
Cheers!

Gin can do that, too.

I tried watching it initially without sound, because madam was skyping the ends of the Earth, and I couldn't get through it -- it was horrific!
With the song playing, though, watching people set themselves up for years of pain doesn't seem quite so bad.

Yes. You really need to watch it with the sound.

It actually pains me to look at it but at the same time I'm fascinated by the stupidity.

No, these fellows have nothing to do with Q&A. All of them have an idea - stupid, but an idea nevertheless - and they actually do something to carry it out.
