Ah. I'll have to try this code that I have then in Mono. Thanks for educating me.

From what I know, it works, but not all that well. And MWF (Managed.Windows.Forms) is kinda stalled. You may want to use MMA (Mono Migration Analyzer) to see if your codebase would even be portable.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

Ah! Thanks, I'll try that out.

Ehrmm, no they do not!
They pass by the lounge and ask inane questions.

Hi guys,
I want to read the source code in a .bin file of a microcontroller because I have to convert the code to C. Do you know any useful program?
Thanks,
T.

Not even I would get past this requirement in Korea.[^]
Edit: In Korea I would need an IQ of at least 286. Griff, please specify which shoe sizes you refer to.

No. We use Monopoint. Not really. European shoe sizes already are no big problem for most and U.K. sizes should only be a challenge for potted plants.

Maybe it should be posted in a .bin file format?

Firstly, read the bit at teh top where is says "if you need specific help please ask your question here
" and follow the link to a more appropriate place: http://www.codeproject.com/Questions/ask.aspx[^]
But in this case, I'll tell you - you can't.
Source code is compiled (or assembled) into a machine code which is loaded into the microcontroller, and does not include the original source in the bin file: you can't get back to the original from the binary file. You may be able to get something using a decompiler if you are lucky and know the original source language, but it's not that likely to be useful.
And generally, this kind of thing is considered copyright violation if you are planning of using or modifying the code in any way. We don;t support that kind of activity.

Yeah, just reading the text, it says to "ask your question here". They don't realize the text is a link to another page on the site. Maybe the text SHOULD read something like this: "Go to this page to ask programming questions", and text decorations should not be turned off (so it looks like a link instead of just bolded text).
