In the UK, Rag Week is a University tradition where stoodents do lots of worth while activities in aid of chiridy. It is an unfortunate by-product that said stoodents tend to get get thirsty. Very, very thirsty.

Aaah, so you're a formally trained and accredited alky. Did you get a first (thirst!)?
Sounds like I should've gone to Sussex instead of UWE, or maybe because it was just Bristol Poly when I started and it hadn't started a Rag tradition!

Tuvalu, veeeery near to the Kuwait! And this week I drank more than usual...
EDIT: Frankly, it doesn't surprise me since I dislike most of the beers and wines, and only some sips. I prefer spirits, preferrably low grade (max 18-25%) and drink them rarely due to my parents having terrible tastes in liquors

Chad for me. I drink very little. Unless there is a special occasion - like two weeks ago when my friend had a going away party. He has moved to Switzerland and I don't think he will want to come back. He has found a great job there.

I had no wine last week resulting in Venezuela.
Adding one glass of wine which is a matching year average results in Gabon and is close to the German average.
Estimating the amounts I have drunk 15 years ago it would be Namibia.

Apparently I'm German this week.
Have fun in Namibia, I worked out there for a few months a decade or so ago. There did seem to be a fairly copious amount of drink available, a lot of it very good, as it used to be a German colony and they did at least leave some good breweries.
(Most of the German legacy is pretty awful. Be very careful that people don't think you're German, it can get you into trouble. Not surprising as, within living memory, people were hunted.)

Your drinking habits are unlike the average from any country.
But your closest match on overall consumption alone is Belarus, the heaviest-drinking country in the world.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing[^]. Are the "Trojan Horse schools":

- Making progress in not Trojan Horsing
Answers on a postcard please.... Or just read the article.

How much effort did you personally "put forth" figuring out the answer?
Sorry, couldn't resist. I was laughing like crazy after reading your post on "put forth" the other day.

I admit I was confused when I read the article, but following one of the links, all became clear. It seems that there have been claims that there has been a takeover plot in Birmingham by Islamist extremists. There looks to be a lot of claims being made, but the proof looks thin.
My conclusion is that it's one of:
- Paranoia
- Inflammatory claims by the far right
- Really happening and the left is oblivious
- Really happening and the left is in on it
- Pure coincidence
I.e., I don't have a clue!

Well, it's the Friday before Christmas, and I hope you are all well organised rather than running round like blue bottomed flies trying to sort last minute pressies and suchlike?
In an effort to get into the Christmas Spirit, I loaded my "Christmas playlist" into the PC player, and the first thing it randomly came up with was this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlIs27Z5Hrk[^] and it looks like what will follow is a load of Trans Siberian Orchestra.
So what are you listening to?
[edit]
Nope, I was wrong - the next up was "Jingle Bells (from Serious Sam the Second Encounter)" - That's more like it!
