Remember Kevin with love and pride
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Wow! Amazing speech, Roger, and some very sage advice. I pray that you will be aware of God's love for you and all your family.

Have my sympathy, anyway.
The problem of road killers is now of big evidence, here in Italy. I hope laws (and actual behaviours) will change for better.

I am sorry for your loss
And I am glad you wrote this. My dad also died in a car crash when I was 1 year old and as far as I know neither of both drivers was drunk. I can't even imagine driving drunk. But sadly it's pretty much a "normal" thing here. I mean people look at me as if I am weird when I tell them I don't even want one beer or a glass of wine if I am driving. It's bizarre.
I hope you can make the best of this season and celebrate your Savior's birth as it is a joyous occasion. I wish the best to you and your family.

On 25th July 1966, my maternal grandmother suffered the same fate. Walking home, she came between a drunk's car and a brick wall. The drunk and wall survived, Ma and the car did not.
One year later I was born and so that day has always had mixed feelings for my mother.

Thanks for the post

I was also hit by a drunk, but I survived.
So I agree with you Roger eat, drink and be merry but be responsible.
Merry Christmas

I'm currently unsupervised, I know it freaks me out too but the possibilities are endless.

Well, I'm still not actually working at work due to access issues, so I wrote some code that creates a (WPF-oriented) viewmodel class based on the specified model type. Depending on the size of the model, it could save anywhere from 15 minutes to two hours per viewmodel object.
To create model classes, I create some XML with the desired schema, and use Paste Special to create the model.

I might make it a tip... I'm positive there are better ways to write it, and making it an extension/add-in for VS would probably be best.
It allows me to specify an inheritance chain, and optionally add INotifyPropertyChanged and IDataErrorInfo code.
While typing this, I've decided to refactor it completely.

Well now, you have to decide whether or not you want all the guys to notice your grunt.
