I'm guessing you don't get it...

That you picked a screen name from the author? Or something else?

You said "the more famous person with that name was a Czech author" as if it was a) my real name (possible) and/or b) that I didn't know who he was.

I replied to another person, who said they didn't know how to pronounce your (possibly assumed, possibly given) name with a joking suggestion of a nickname to use instead, and a pronunciation guide. I'd never dream of replying to you, with that message, as I'd assume you'd know about the more famous person, and how you'd like your name pronounced.

Oh well: have a nice day.

I got it, but I still didn't know how to pronounce it.

You don't know how to pronounce your own name? That is sad.

At least I know how to spell it!
(Spelling "Mark" with a "c", indeed! Might as well use a "q"!)

Mark with a 'c'? An abomination, might as well be Sally.

Awesome, I guess the US has given up on all space research?

Economically speaking, we're on the road to 3rd world status. So, you know, there's that to deal with.

The country that I fought for and my buddies died for is gone. It has been taken from us piece by piece in a coordinated effort by those that worship money and power.

I think it's all about control: the rest comes as a bonus.

I disagree: they know the cost of everything, and the value of nothing.

Man this is so true it's unreal. Ironically, if we don't stop it we're gonna fall the same way great empires did in history. It always repeats because people don't want to learn from past mistakes.

History repeats itself because we are basically the same as our forefathers. Absolute power corrupts and that will never change.

The worst of it is that there's no evil involved, per se; it's just people behaving like people, so we're always bound to fail.
